How to check a company's gender pay gap
UK employers with 250+ staff must report their gender pay gap every year, and the full history is public.
Search the employer here — reporting companies carry a Pay gap tab with every year since 2017/18, median and mean gaps, bonus gaps, pay quartiles, and where the employer stands among all ~10,000 UK reporters and within its own sector. The league table shows the employers closest to parity and the largest gaps in each direction; the statistics page has national and sector medians.
Reading it honestly: the gap compares median hourly pay across the whole workforce — it is not a like-for-like comparison for the same job.
