1. The information on this site

Company information on this site is derived from the databases of public records of company information, including Companies House and The Gazette. It is provided for information purposes only. CUK does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness, and it should be verified against the official register before being relied upon. AI-generated analyses are produced automatically from public filings, may contain errors or omissions, and are not financial, legal or professional advice.

2. Subscriptions

A subscription gives the signed-in account it was bought with access to the parts of the site marked "Subscribers only": the names and details of company officers and persons with significant control, officer profiles and officer search, filings that contain personal details, and Gazette notice texts. The price is shown before you pay and includes VAT.

Who sells it. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions are sold through Link (operated by Stripe), which acts as the seller of record for the payment, sends your receipts and invoices, and handles payment and billing questions. The service itself is provided by us.

Renewal. A subscription lasts for the billing period shown when you subscribe (a month or a year) and renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel. Yearly subscriptions are reminded before they renew. You can cancel at any time from your account page or through Link; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

No refunds once access has started. A subscription is digital content supplied immediately: everything it unlocks is available to you the moment payment is confirmed. By subscribing you ask us to start supplying it straight away and acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply. Payments are not refundable, in whole or in part, including for any unused part of a billing period — except where the law requires a refund, where the service was not supplied as described, or where our payment provider issues one under its own policies.

Use. A subscription is for one person's use. Sharing an account, or using subscriber access to copy or extract data in bulk, is not permitted and we may end access without refund if it happens.

We may change what a subscription includes or its price for future renewals; we will tell you before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

3. Use of the products

You may copy product content only as permitted by Section 47 of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988, as amended from time to time. CUK is not responsible for your use of any product or of information on this site; you are responsible for complying with all applicable law, including data protection law, in your use of it.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Accounts are personal and secured by email sign-in links. Automated scraping, bulk downloading outside offered products, or use that degrades the service for others is not permitted, and we may apply rate limits or withdraw access to protect the service.

5. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. CUK shall not otherwise be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or its products.

6. HM Land Registry data

Property information shown on company pages is derived from HM Land Registry data (Information produced by HM Land Registry, © Crown copyright) and is provided for use within this site only. You may not extract, reuse or redistribute that information as a dataset or product of its own, use it for direct marketing, or use title numbers in any way that interferes with HM Land Registry's systems.
