In that: VAT reclaims were submitted to HMRC for each VAT period from period ending 05/09 to 08/13, resulting in payments being made to PWI by HMRC totalling £112,026 Following an investigation by HMRC, PW failedto provide evidence to support the validity of the reclaims. HMRC disallowed the VAT reclaims and on 26 September 2014 raised an assessment of £78,483. The VAT reclaims were never repaid by the company. On 28 April 2017 a winding up order was made on a petition presented by HMRC
