Between 31 May 2019 and 22 October 2019 Thomas James Rosier (“Mr. Rosier”) caused Grabking Limited (“Grabking”) to submit 20 false invoices in respect of 15 customers amounting to £477,300 to its invoice finance provider, resulting in the loss of £348,174 to the invoice finance provider. • Grabking entered into an invoice finance agreement on 12 June 2018 whereby Grabking received payment for sales invoices it submitted to the invoice finance provider. • Grabking submitted 20 invoices to the invoice finance provider in respect of sales amounting to £477,300 that were purportedly made to 15 customers. Under the terms of the invoice finance agreement the invoice finance provider paid up to 90% of the total of these invoices to Grabking. • The invoice finance provider has been unable to collect the amount of these invoices due to customers informing the provider that the invoices were false. • The invoice finance provider are owed £408,615 of which at least £348,174 relates to losses caused by the misuse of the factoring agreement.
