The Department for Communities has made a Statutory Rule entitled
the Pneumoconiosis, etc., (Workers’ Compensation) (Payment of
Claims) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025 (S.R. 2025
No. 36), which comes into operation on 1 April 2025 or the day after it
is affirmed by resolution of the Assembly if later.
These Regulations, one of a series of statutory rules relating to the
annual up-rating of social security benefits and pensions, amend the
Pneumoconiosis, etc., (Workers’ Compensation) (Payment of Claims)
Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1988 to increase the amounts payable
under the Pneumoconiosis, etc., (Workers’ Compensation) (Northern
Ireland) Order 1979 by 1.7 per cent in line with the up-rating of
industrial injuries benefits.

that they are entitled to the return of the vehicle, the Driver & Vehicle

Any person having a claim to the contents of the above vehicle may
seek their return on or before 28 March 2025 at the Driver & Vehicle
Agency, Hydebank House, 4A Hospital Road, Ballydollaghan, Belfast,
BT8 8JL between 09:00 hours and 17:00 hours Monday to Friday.
If on or by the date given in this notice, no person has established
that they are entitled to the return of the contents, the Driver & Vehicle
Agency shall dispose of them (Regulations 15 and 16 of the 2012
Regulations refer).

The Trustee of the Air Kilroe (Eastern Airways) Pension Scheme
hereby give notice under Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the
Scheme has commenced winding-up and will soon be terminating. As
part of the winding up process, the Trustee of the Scheme wishes to
trace all former members and their beneficiaries who are entitled to
benefits under the Scheme. Anyone who thinks they have been
missed (i.e. believes that he or she is a member or a beneficiary of the

Notice is hereby given that the Trustee of the Renault Trucks UK Ltd
Pension Plan, Volvo Group UK Executive Pension Scheme and the
Volvo Penta UK Retirement Benefits Scheme (“the Schemes”), is
intending to distribute the assets of the Schemes in accordance with
the Schemes’ governing documentation and overriding law in order to
complete the winding-up of the trust, which commenced on 4 March
2025.
The following persons are requested to write to the Trustee at the
address given below, no later than two months from the date of this
notice:
• Any employee or former employee of Renault Trucks UK Limited,
Volvo Penta Ltd, Volvo Group UK Ltd (or any other relevant employer
who you believe participated in the Scheme) who believes that they
were a member of the Schemes and who is not already receiving a
pension in respect of their membership of the Schemes and has not
received any correspondence from the Trustee in the last two years;
• Any person who believes themselves to be a beneficiary of the
Schemes as a widow, widower or dependant of a deceased member
of the Schemes; and
• Any creditor or other person who believes they have a claim against,
or an interest in, the Schemes.

employment or dates when they were members of the Schemes or

confirmation of the cancellation of the entire amount standing to the
credit of its capital redemption reserve, the court pronounced the

Land at the above location has been declared surplus to Lancashire
County Council’s (“LCC”) requirements and is to be sold. The Crichel
Down Rules (as set out in as set out in the Department for Levelling
Up, Housing & Communities Guidance on compulsory purchase
process and the Crichel Down Rules for the disposal of surplus land
acquired by, or under the threat of, compulsion (July 2019), under
certain circumstances, require surplus land compulsorily acquired to
be offered back to the former owner or their successor in title (other

LCC considers that exemptions apply. LCC therefore wishes to trace
the former owners of the Land or their successors in title (as defined
in the Crichel Down Rules) in order to notify them of the decision.
