JACOBS FIELD SERVICES LIMITED THE JACOBS DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN (UK) PURSUANT TO SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925 The Jacobs Defined Contribution Plan (UK) (the “Plan”), previously known as The Sir Alexander Gibb & Partners 1988 Retirement Benefit Plan, was established with effect from 1 April 1988. Jacobs U.K. Limited (Company number 02594504), Leighfisher Limited (Company number 02591354), and Jacobs Field Services Limited (Company number 01172655) are the Plan’s current sponsoring employers. All contributions to the Plan have ceased and the Plan is to be wound up, with the benefits for its members having been transferred to the LifeSight master trust in November and December 2019 or otherwise distributed in accordance with the Plan’s Trust Deed and Rules. The Plan’s Principal Employer, Jacobs U.K. Limited, intends to commence wind-up in short course, with the aim of completing the Plan wind-up no later than 31 October 2020 The Plan's trustees have corresponded by post with all known members and other beneficiaries of the Plan and, in due course, the Plan will cease to exist – pensions in payment will not be affected. Accordingly, it is of vital importance that any person having a claim against or an interest in the Plan, and who has not received correspondence from Plan trustees should make themselves known to the Plan trustees. Particulars of any claim should be set out in writing and sent to the contact noted below within two months of the date of publication of this notice. If you fail to do so, the Plan trustees will distribute the Plan assets having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have been given notice. When writing, you should include details of your current address and any benefits to which you think you are entitled. It would be appropriate to include a copy of any documentation that supports your claim. Notification is not required from individuals who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Plan, who have transferred their Plan entitlement to another pension scheme or arrangement, or who are receiving correspondence relating to the Plan from its trustees. The Trustee believes it has the names and contact details of everyone who has a right to a benefit under the Plan and communications have been sent to the membership about the termination of the Plan. You do not need to contact us if you have received these communications. However, if you think you have an entitlement under the Plan and have not had any communication about the winding up, then please write to the Trustee Corporation Limited, Rutland House, 148 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2JR. Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number and either details of when they were a member of the Plan or details of the basis of their claim. Your claim must arrive on or before 28 October 2020, at which time this notice shall expire. Late claims arriving after the expiry of the notice will not be accepted. As soon as possible after the expiry of this notice, the Trustee will proceed to wind up the Plan, having regard only to the claims and interests of which it has prior notice.
