LIMITED WHEREAS MODERN HOMES INVESTMENT COMPANY LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Acts under Company number SC018165 was dissolved on 5 December 1995; AND WHEREAS in terms of section 654 of the Companies Act 1985 all property and rights whatsoever vested in or held on trust for a dissolved company immediately before its dissolution are deemed to be bona vacantia; AND WHEREAS immediately before its dissolution the said Modern Homes Investment Company Limited was heritably vest in parts and portions of ALL and WHOLE (1) that plot or area of ground at Markfield Road, Dalgety Bay, Fife extending to 1.26 acres or thereby being the subjects more particularly described in, disponed by and shown coloured pink and delineated in red on the plan annexed as relative to the Dispositon by Albert Thain Limited in favour of the said Modern Homes Investment Company Limited recorded in the Division of the General Register of Sasines for the County of Fife on 25 October 1971 and (2) that plot or area of ground at Markfield Road, Dalgety Bay, Fife extending to 1.28 acres or thereby being the subjects more particularly described in, disponed by and shown coloured pink and delineated in red on the plan annexed as relative to the Dispositon by Albert Thain Limited in favour of the said Modern Homes Investment Company Limited recorded in the Division of the General Register of Sasines for the County of Fife on 5 January 1973; AND WHEREAS the dissolution of the said Modern Homes Investment Company Limited came to my notice on 1 June 2015: Now THEREFORE I, CATHERINE PATRICIA DYER, the Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, in pursuance of section 1013 of the Companies Act 2006, do by this Notice disclaim the Crown’s whole right and title in and to the aforesaid heritable property.
