BP EXPLORATION OPERATING COMPANY LIMITED ELECTRICITY ACT 1989 TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997 THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT)(SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000 Notice is hereby given that BP Exploration Operating Company Limited, (Company Registration Number: 00305943) whose registered office is situated at Chertsey Road, Sunbury On Thames, Middlesex, TW16 7BP has applied to the Scottish Ministers for consent to construct and operate a Gas Fired Combined Heat and Power Plant on industrial land within the BP Kinneil Terminal, Bo’ness Road, Grangemouth (Ordnance Survey NS 956 804 (National Grid Reference 295645 680474)). The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be up to 159 MW. BP Exploration Operating Company Limited has also applied for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted. BP Exploration Operating Company Limited has now submitted to Scottish Ministers further information in the form of an addendum which presents the findings of a Combined Heat and Power study (CHP study).
