Notice is hereby given that BP Exploration Operating Company
Limited, (Company Registration Number: 00305943) whose registered
office is situated at Chertsey Road, Sunbury On Thames, Middlesex,
TW16 7BP has applied to the Scottish Ministers for consent to
construct and operate a Gas Fired Combined Heat and Power Plant
on industrial land within the BP Kinneil Terminal, Bo’ness Road,
Grangemouth (Ordnance Survey NS 956 804 (National Grid Reference
295645 680474)). The installed capacity of the proposed generating
station would be up to 159 MW.
BP Exploration Operating Company Limited has also applied for a
direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning
(Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be
deemed to be granted.
BP Exploration Operating Company Limited has now submitted to
Scottish Ministers further information in the form of an addendum
which presents the findings of a Combined Heat and Power study
(CHP study).

REGULATIONS 2012
In accordance with Paragraph 8 of Schedule 4 to the Pollution
Prevention and Control (Scotland) Regulations, notice is hereby given
that JM BAXTER PARTNERSHIP has applied to the Scottish
Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a permit under Regulation
13 of the Regulations. This is in respect of activities being carried out
namely (INTENSIVE FARMING OF POULTRY) in an installation at
Glenhead of Aldouran Farm, Leswalt, Stranraer, DG9 0RJ.
ENVIRONMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE
The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant
effects of emissions from the installation on the environment and on
human health.
The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, Angus
Smith Building, 6 Parklands Avenue, Eurocentral, Holytown, ML1
4WQ from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.30pm.

• The raw and auxiliary materials, other substances and energy to be
used, or generated.

• The techniques for preventing, reducing and rendering harmless
emissions from the installation.
• The proposed measures to be taken to monitor emissions.
• The measures to be taken to minimise waste production and
recover wastes produced.
• Any additional measures to ensure that no significant pollution is
caused.
• The climate change agreement in place for the installation, if
applicable.
• An outline of the main alternatives, if any have been studied.
• A non technical summary of the information referred to above.
• Other information which the applicant may wish SEPA to take into
account.

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL
Notice is hereby given that Nigel Wasson has applied to the Chief
Inspector for a variation of an Integrated Pollution Prevention and
Control (IPPC) Permit to operate an installation involving the intensive
rearing of poultry. The variation is for an increase in the capacity of
the installation from 114,000 birds (3 poultry houses) to 185,000 birds
(5 poultry houses). The installation is located at 75 Rosedermott
Road, Cloughmills, Ballymena, Co. Antrim BT44 9NU.
The application contains all particulars as required by the Regulations
including a description of foreseeable significant effects of emissions
from the installation on the environment.
