The new charges referred to in article 2a of this Notice is based on emissions specified in grams per kilometre driven (g/km) of carbon dioxide gas emitted by the vehicle, as specified on the UK registration certificate issued in respect of that vehicle. 4. An additional £1 surcharge on top of the new emissions based hourly charge will apply to any vehicle propelled by Diesel fuel when paying for parking by phone. 5. The twenty pence per half hour shopper parking tariff in limited stay shopper parking bays will remain the same. 6.
