ROAD RESTRICTIONS
STIRLING COUNCIL
The STIRLING COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (Lower
Bridge Street, Stirling) (Stopping-Up and Removal from List of Public
Roads) Order 2019 under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.
The Order will stop up the following road and remove it from the List
of Public Roads:
Lower Bridge Street, Stirling The south-west/north-east
section from the point where it
meets Back O’Hill Road in a
north easterly direction for a
distance of 128 metres or
thereby to the point where it
meets the subway leading from
Lower Bridge Street to
Laurencecroft Road.
That section from its junction with
Back O’Hill Road in a south-
easterly direction to the point
where it meets the south west/
north-east section of Lower
Bridge Street.
The Order will stop-up the following footpath and remove it from the
List of Public Roads:
Lower Bridge Street, Stirling That section of footpath on the
north-west and north-east sides
thereof of the south-west/north-
east section from the point where
it meets the subway leading from
Lower Bridge Street to
Laurencecroft Road in a south
westerly then north westerly
direction for a distance of 50
metres or thereby to the point
where it meets Back O’Hill Road.
That section of footpath on the
north-west side thereof of the
south-west/north-east section
from a point 30 metres or thereby
south-west of the point where it
meets the subway leading from
Lower Bridge Street to
Laurencecroft Road in a south
westerly then north westerly
direction for a distance of 39
metres or thereby to the point
where it meets Back O’Hill Road.
That section of footpath on the
south-east side thereof of the
south-west/north-east section
from the junction Back O’Hill
Road in a north-easterly direction
for a distance of 149 metres or
thereby.
Details can be examined at the Council’s Offices, Endrick House,
Kerse Road, Stirling, FK7 7SN during normal office hours for 28 days
from 23-1-19.
Objectors must state their reasons in writing to the Manager Roads
and Land, Environment and Place, Endrick House, Kerse Road,
Stirling, FK7 7SN by 20-2-19 quoting reference number TM/6 – SRO/
2019(19).

(RE-DETERMINATION OF MEANS OF EXERCISE OF PUBLIC
RIGHT OF PASSAGE) ORDER 2019 (01/19)
On 14/1/19 the Council made and confirmed the above Order under
Sections 1(1) and 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 which
comes into effect on 23/1/19. The effect of the Order is as stated in
the Notice detailed in the Edinburgh Gazette No 3153804 dated
16/11/18 and in the Courier and Advertiser on 16/11/18. Full details
may be examined within normal office hours from 22/1/19 until 6/3/19
at:- Pullar House, Main Reception, 35 Kinnoull Street, Perth;
Reference Section, AK Bell Library, York Place, Perth and Blairgowrie
Community Campus, Elm Drive, Blairgowrie.
