FARM SUSTAINABILITY (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS)
REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2025
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs has
made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Farm Sustainability (Transitional
Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025", (S.R. 2025 No. 33)
which comes in operation on 24 February 2025.
The SR gives legal effect to the Farm Sustainability Transition
Payment (FSTP) which will replace the current Basic Payment
Scheme (BPS) within 2025. It also includes a number of additional
legislative changes to ensure the continued roll out of the Farm
Support and Development Programme.

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
HANSON NO 2 PENSION SCHEME – WIND UP
The Hanson No 2 Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) was established
by an interim Trust Deed dated 1 October 1969 and is governed by a
consolidated definitive Trust Deed and Rules dated 1 July 2004 (as
amended). The Scheme is sponsored by Hanson Building Materials
Limited (Company number 00488067) and is currently administered
by Capita.
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925
that the Trustee is winding up the Scheme following a merger of the
Scheme with the Hanson Industrial Pension Scheme. The Trustee sent
a letter dated 28 October 2024 to this effect to all known beneficiaries
of the Scheme (for whom we hold contact details) as part of this
merger. This notice is, therefore, published for completion before the
trust of the Scheme is wound up.
Any creditor, member or beneficiary of the Scheme or any other
person who believes they have a claim against, or entitlement to a
pension or any benefit from, or an interest in the Scheme is requested
to write to the Scheme’s Administrator, Capita:

To make a claim, Claimants should provide their full name, address,
date of birth, NI number and, if applicable, dates of employment. If
any other person believes they have a claim against or an interest in
the Scheme, they are requested to write to the same address setting
out full particulars of their claim. Please quote the Scheme name in all
correspondence.
All claims must be received within two months of the date of this
publication i.e. no later than 30 April 2025. After this date, the Trustee
will proceed to complete the wind-up of the Scheme and secure
benefits for any remaining beneficiaries, having regard only to the
claims and interests of which they have prior notice. The Trustee shall
not be liable to any other person.
Any individuals who have already been contacted on behalf of the
Trustees about this matter should not respond to this notice as the
Trustees already have details of their claims and entitlements.
