M4 MOTORWAY – JUNCTIONS 1-3
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an
Order on the M4 Motorway in the London Borough of Hounslow,
under Sections 14(1)(a) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order is to authorise the overnight closure – in
phases – of: -
1) both carriageways of the M4/A4 between Junction 1 (A4) and
Junction 3 (A312); and
2) all the roads leading from and to the carriageways described in 1)
above.
These measures are in the interests of road safety while contractors
undertake carriageway, electrical, street lighting, barrier replacement,
drainage and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for approximately 19 months
starting on or after Monday 20th December 2021. The overnight
closures will take place between the following hours (maximum
periods): -
Monday – Thursday 22:00 – 05:30
Friday 23:00 – 06:00
Saturday 22:00 - 06:00
Sunday 22:30 – 05:30
The Order will come into force on 18th December 2021 and continue
until completion of the works, when it will be formerly revoked as
required by the terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section
15(2).
Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted using the A4 and
A312.
The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated
by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London
Borough of Newham on 6 December 2021 made the above
mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV
of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the parking places Orders will be to remove
short lengths (approximately 3 metres) of parking place from the

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will
be to convert a length of single yellow line operating on Monday to
Sunday from 8am to 10pm to double yellow lines operating “at any
time” outside Nos. 46/48 Wanlip Road E13.
4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 10 December
2021, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the
Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on
Monday to Friday inclusive at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside
Road E16 2QU, by telephoning 020 3373 6415 or by emailing
[email protected] for six weeks from the date the Orders
were made.
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or
of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within
the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London
Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield
(Residents’ Parking Places) (Cedars Road) (No. *) Traffic Order 202*
and the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No.***)
Traffic Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part
IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the Traffic Orders would be to:
(a) introduce a controlled parking zone which will operate Monday to
Sunday 7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 7pm, by providing residents’
parking places in Cedars Road N21 & Highfield Road N21 and
(b) introduce new waiting restrictions which would operate “At any
time” and “Monday to Sunday 7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm” in the
zone.
3. The effect of the Residents' Parking Places Traffic Order would be
to:
(a) designate residents' parking places in Cedars Road N21 and
Highfield Road N21, at which charges may be made by the Council
for vehicles authorised by the Order to be left in those parking places;
(b) provide that the parking places would operate between 7 am and
9am and between 5pm and 7pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive
(Christmas Day, Good Friday or Bank Holidays excepted);
(c) specify that the vehicles which may be left in the residents' parking
places shall be those displaying either a valid residents' permit,
community health staff permit, social services staff permit, special
permit, carers' permit or visitors parking card issued by the Council or
its authorised agent under the provisions of the relevant Order;
(d) provide that the charge for the issue of a residents' would be in
accordance with the schedule of charges in the Table below, and that
the residents' permit would be valid for a period of 12 months running
from the beginning of the month in which it first becomes valid;

(e) provide that the charge for the issue of a community health staff
permit or a social services staff permit would be £25 and which would
be valid for a period of 12 months running from the beginning of the
month in which it first becomes valid;
(f) provide that the charge for the issue of a carers' permit would be in
accordance with the schedule of charges for residents' permits shown
in Table 1 above, and that the carers' permit would be valid for a
period of 12 months running from the beginning of the month in which
it first becomes valid;
(g) provide that the charge for the issue of a special permit would be
in accordance with the schedule of charges for residents' permits
shown in Table 1 above, and that the special permit would be valid for
a period of 12 months running from the beginning of the month in
which it first becomes valid;
(h) provide that the charge for the issue of a residents' visitors parking
card which, upon validation, would be valid for a single morning or
afternoon period, would be £0.75 each. Parking cards are available in
booklets comprising 10 parking cards each (a maximum of 50 parking
cards may be issued to a householder in a 12 month period);
(i) provide that certain vehicles may wait free of charge in certain
circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum two
minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes) and vehicles left by
specified disabled persons (no time limit).
The street specified in Schedule to this Notice will form the extent of
the zone and be used for the issue of permits.
4. The effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Traffic Order
would be to introduce new zone-hours waiting restrictions which
operate Monday to Sunday 7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm in Cedars
Road N21 and Highfield Road N21 within the proposed controlled
parking zone.
5. A copy of the proposed Orders and of the Council’s statement of
reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected at the
Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays

introduce footway parking places under the GLC General Powers Act
1974.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce the Muswell Hill West Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and
introduce parking controls operating between the hours of 10 a.m.
and 2 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in the roads listed in
Schedule 1 to this Notice and to prohibit waiting by vehicles other
than in the designated parking places provided during those hours;
(b) designate resident permit holders only parking places, in Kings
Avenue N10; Princes Avenue N10 and Queens Avenue N10 where
vehicles displaying a valid, residents parking permit or visitors’ permit
would be permitted to wait without time limit;

to load or unload for a maximum period of 2 hours with no return to
that bay within 2 hours of leaving it;

this Notice (providing that their property is not on a private or car
restricted development) would be able to purchase parking permits
and residents would be able to purchase visitors parking permits, for
passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles (the overall height of
which does not exceed 2.27 metres and the overall length of which
does not exceed 5.25 metres). Charges for Muswell Hill West CPZ
permits will reflect the existing rates which can be found on https://

Residents over 65 and registered disabled receive 50% concession

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of
Haringey on 3rd December 2021 has made the above mentioned
Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9
to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the order:
(i) To extend the existing single yellow line operating at zone hours on
the east side of Flexmere Road N17 outside of No. 32 by 1.2 metres
to the south, thereby making it a total of 5.4 metres in length.
(ii) To remove 1.2 metres of permit holders parking place on the east
side of Flexmere Road N17 outside of No. 32, to facilitate the
installation of the vehicle crossover extension and extension of single
yellow line as detailed above.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 10th
December 2021.

weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application

1. The London Borough of Hounslow hereby gives notice that on 6
December 2021 it made the above Orders under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into operation on 9
December 2021.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make permanent the
experimental:
a) prohibition on motor vehicles, except those requiring access, from
proceeding in Burford Road, Green Dragon Lane and Netley Road,
Brentford;
b) prohibition on motor vehicles, except those requiring access, from
proceeding in Amhurst Gardens, Teesdale Avenue and Teesdale
Gardens, Isleworth;
c) ‘diagonal road closure’ of Whitestile Road at its junctions with
Enfield Road and Junction Road;
d) prohibition on motor vehicles (except for goods vehicles travelling
in a south-westerly direction) proceeding in Challis Road (between the
southwestern kerbline of Clayton Crescent and a point 9m southwest
of that kerbline); and
e) prohibition on vehicles parking in parts of Enfield Road and
Whitestile Road, Brentford adjacent to the junction of the two roads.

Hillingdon Council gives notice that it proposes to make these Orders
to remove the following sections of permit holder parking places to
facilitate the installation of new or extended vehicle crossings:
i) Remove part of the Zone E2 parking place outside No. 31
Sunningdale Avenue, Eastcote and replace with ‘Monday to Saturday
9am to 5pm’ waiting restrictions.
ii) Remove part of the Zone HH parking place outside No. 5 Pinewood
Avenue, Hillingdon and replace with ‘Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm’
waiting restrictions.
iii) Remove part of the Zone IC2 parking place outside No. 53 Glebe
Avenue, Ickenham and replace with ‘Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm’
waiting restrictions.
iv) Remove part of the Zone IC2 parking place outside No. 2a
Milverton Drive, Ickenham and replace with ‘Monday to Friday 9am to
5pm’ waiting restrictions.
v) Remove part of the Zone NWH parking place outside No. 20
Litchfield Road, Northwood Hills and replace with ‘Monday to Friday
1pm to 2pm’ waiting restrictions.
vi) Remove part of the Zone NWH parking place outside No. 61
Stanley Road, Northwood Hills and replace with ‘Monday to Friday
1pm to 2pm’ waiting restrictions.
vii) Remove the entire Zone H2 parking place outside No. 496 Bath
Road, West Drayton and replace with ‘Monday to Saturday 9am to
5pm’ waiting restrictions.
viii) Remove part of the Zone IC parking place outside No. 32 Hoylake
Crescent, Ickenham and replace with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.
ix) Remove part of the Zone N parking place outside No. 5 Halland
Way, Northwood and replace with ‘Monday to Friday 1pm to 2pm’
waiting restrictions.
x) Remove the entire Zone H1 parking place outside No. 16 Victoria
Lane, Hayes and replace with ‘Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm’
waiting restrictions.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE NEWHAM (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 5) TRAFFIC ORDER
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London
Borough of Newham on 6 December 2021 made the above-
mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. This notice replaces the notice of making of the Newham
(Prescribed Routes) (No. 4) Traffic Order 2021 which was published on
27 October 2021 as that Order was not made and did not come into
force.
3. The general effect of the Order will be to:
(a) replace the existing physical road closure located outside No. 307
Corporation Street E15 (imposed by the Newham (Prescribed Route)
(No. 2) Traffic Order 1983, which will be revoked) with an ‘open’ road
closure. Motor vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding through the
closure. Exemptions will apply for pedal cycles and for vehicles being
used: for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes; for the purpose
of collecting refuse or street cleansing; in connection with the removal
of any obstruction to traffic or maintenance etc. of the highway; in
connection with the placing etc. of any street furniture; for the
purpose of any building operation or demolition; or in connection with
the laying, erection, alteration or repair of any sewer or of any main,
pipe or apparatus for the supply of gas, water or electricity, or of any
communications network; or in the course of the provision of a
universal postal service by a universal service provider for the
purpose of delivering or collecting postal packets; and
(b) formalise the existing one-way workings from west to east for
traffic in (i) Vincent Street E16, between Rogers Road and Fords Park
Road; and (ii) Scoulding Road E16, between Rogers Road and St.
John’s Road E16. No changes are proposed to the current situation at
these locations.
4. Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 13 December
2021, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the
Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on
Monday to Friday inclusive at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside
Road E16 2QU, by telephoning 020 3373 6415 or by emailing
[email protected] for six weeks from the date the Order
was made.
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any
of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the
powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of
any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that
person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is
made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
