The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be up to 3GW comprising of between 126 and 225 turbines with a maximum height of up to 350 metres above Mean Sea Level. The proposed development is subject to an environmental impact assessment (“EIA”) under the EIA regulations listed above. Where the Scottish Ministers decide to exercise their discretion to do so the Scottish Ministers can cause a Public Local Inquiry (“PLI”) to be held.
