- Mr Matthew Alexander Davis (“Mr Davis”) failed to ensure that Mastic Matt Ltd (“Mastic Matt”) maintained and/or preserved adequate accounting records from at least the 10 June 2020 until 07 April 2021, the date of liquidation, or in the alternative, he has failed to deliver up adequate accounting records to the Liquidator. As a result, it has not been possible to: Determine the purpose of payments made by Mastic Matt, in particular transactions totalling £19,467 made after receipt of a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £48,900 on 10 June 2020; Determine whether these transactions were legitimate company transactions, and whether the BBL funds obtained were therefore utilised for the economic benefit of Mastic Matt as required by the terms of the BBL scheme.
