1. The NEWHAM LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL hereby gives notice
that it made an Order – Brunel Street Works, E16 – Galliford Try
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017, the general effect of
which will be that no person shall cause any vehicle to park or remain
in the roads as specified in Schedule 1 below, when the appropriate
signs are displayed.
2. The Order is being made to allow Galliford Try, its contractors and
Utilities to carry out major development works, on and adjacent to the
highway, the Council being satisfied that the project will not be
completed until 2021. The prohibition applies from Thursday 2nd
November 2017 at 7.00am until Sunday 1st August 2021 at 11.59pm,
or on completion of the works, whichever is the sooner.
ENVIRONMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE
3. Waiting and loading restrictions will apply when the appropriate
signs are displayed, Pedestrian access will be maintained to adjoining
properties, road closures will be required for these works, by
agreement with the Highway Authority, with alternative diversion
routes provided.

Services (if the works permit), or in connection with the works, for

(b) designate a new Shared Use parking place on the east side of
Stukeley Road adjacent to the flank wall of No. 162 Boleyn Road. This
parking place would operate on Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm
and would be for permit holders (unlimited stay) or other vehicles
without a permit which may be left on payment (by means of the
Council’s cashless payment system by making an approved credit/
debit card payment by mobile phone or via the internet, for a
maximum period of 2 hours (with a parking charge of £2 for up to 1
hour or £3 for up to 2 hours);
(c) extend existing Shared Use parking places (permit holders and
paid for parking) at the following locations in Stukeley Road: (i) the
east side, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 185 Neville Road (extend
northward by 15 metres, which would replace the existing bus stand
and southward by 2 metres); (ii) the east side, adjacent to the flank
wall of No. 188 Neville Road (extend northward by 3.6 metres), (iii) the
west side, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 181 Neville Road (extend
southward by 3 metres); and (iv) the west side, adjacent to the flank

roads where difficulty is being experienced in the parking of disabled
persons’ vehicles due to heavy demand for parking in those areas.
The order would also revoke those disabled parking bays which are
no longer required in order to make best use of kerb space.

THE CROYDON (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO.2) TRAFFIC ORDER
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 30 October
2017 made the above Order under Sections 84, 87 and 124 of and
Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as
amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit any motor
vehicle exceeding a speed of 20 miles per hour in the area
described in Schedule 1 to this Notice, excluding the roads
bounding the area (as specified) and those roads/sections of
roads within the boundary listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
Roads within the boundary of the new area to which an existing
20mph speed limit applies will continue to retain their speed
limits under their respective Orders.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 06
November 2017, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from
9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of six
weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the “Access

Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make the Enfield (Free
Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. *) Order 201*, the Enfield
(Prescribed Routes) (No. *) Order 201 and the Enfield (Prescribed
Routes) (Cannon Road N14) (No. *) Order 201 under sections 6, and
124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) introduce ‘No Entry’ restrictions at the islands located at junctions
of Bourne Avenue N14 with Parkway N14 and Bourne Avenue N14

(b) introduce a ‘Compulsory Left Turn’ in Parkway N14 at its junction
with the island located at the junction of Parkway N14 with Bourne

(c) introduce a prohibition for all motor vehicles from entering Cannon
Road N14 from Cannon Hill N14, during school term time, from 8 am
to 9.15 am and from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays
inclusive except for access to off-street premises and designated
disabled persons parking places; and
(d) introduce two disabled parking places to operate ‘Monday to
Friday 8.15 to 9.15am and 2.45 to 4pm’ on the south side of Cannon
Road N14 outside St. Monica’s Roman Catholic School, to replace an
existing School Keep Clear zig-zag marking.
4. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to control the
speed of traffic, the Council propose to construct under sections 90A
to 90I of the Highways Act 1980.–
ENVIRONMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE
(a) speed humps which would have a height of 75 millimetres
constructed at the locations specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
and
(b) continuous footways which would be constructed level with the
adjacent kerbs, between distances of 7.5 and 18.5 metres from the
junction and cover the full width of the roads at the locations specified
in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
4. A copy of each of the proposed Orders, of a map indicating the
locations and effects of the proposed Orders, of the Council's
statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and any other
relevant documents can be inspected at the Reception Desk, the

Borough of Newham proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders
under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local
Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to introduce Industrial
Parking Zones (IPZ) in to the streets and lengths of streets specified
below in Beckton (IB), Custom House (ICH), Canning Town (ICT),
Royal Docks East (IRE) and Royal Docks West (IRW). The IPZs would
operate from 8am to 6.30pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive
(referred to below as “the operational hours”) and the provisions in the
IPZs would include:
• (IB - Beckton Industrial Parking Zone) ‘Shared use’ parking
places (permit holders and “pay by phone” short-stay parking) in
Alpine Way, Eastbury Road and Rodding Road
• (ICH - Custom House Industrial Parking Zone) ‘Shared use’
parking places (permit holders and “pay by phone” short-stay
parking) in Beeby Road
• (ICT - Canning Town Industrial Parking Zone) ‘Shared use’
parking places (permit holders and “pay by phone” short-stay
parking) in Cody Road, North Crescent and South Crescent;
• (IRE - Royal Docks East Industrial Parking Zone) ‘Shared use’
parking places (permit holders and “pay by phone” short-stay
parking) in Factory Road, Henley Road, Pier Road and Store Road;
• (IRW - Royal Docks West Industrial Parking Zone) ‘Shared use’

without a permit may be left during the operational hours for a
maximum period of 4 hours (no return within 1 hour) at a charge of £2
for up to 1 hour, £3 for up to 2 hours or £4 for up to 4 hours;
(Payment of the above parking charges would be by means of the
Council’s cashless payment system by making an approved credit/
debit card payment by mobile phone or via the internet.)
• Waiting restrictions in all IPZs operating ‘at any time’.

would be to introduce restrictions on waiting by vehicles in:

eastern extremity. The proposed waiting restrictions (single yellow

Borough of Newham proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders

Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to introduce additional
parking facilities by means of new 20-minute free bays (enabling valid
Newham permit holders to park in these bays at with no charge for 20
minutes) and to introduce new car club bays, electric vehicle charging
bays in Ruskin Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ). Whilst there would be
additional bays being implemented in your zone, the council would
endeavour to amend single and double yellow lines in an effort to
retain existing parking arrangements. This can be achieved because
the recommendations for the permitted lengths of lining to be
implemented has been amended by the Department for Transport
since your zone was first implemented.
Parking facilities in the existing Ruskin CPZ would include:
• ‘Shared use’ parking places (permit holders and charged short-
stay parking) where vehicles displaying a permit may be left during
the operational hours without time limit and vehicles without a permit
may be left during the operational hours for a maximum period of 2
hours (no return within 1 hour) at a charge of £2 for up to 1 hour or £3
for up to 2 hours in Berkeley Road; Coleridge Avenue; Essex Road;
Goldsmith Avenue; Rosebery Avenue; Ruskin Avenue; Sheridan Road
and Stanley Road E12;
• ‘Short stay’ parking places where vehicles may be left during the
operational hours for a maximum period of 1 hour (no return within 1

(AMENDMENT NO. 146) ORDER 2017
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough
of Greenwich on 30th October 2017 made the above-mentioned
Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come
into operation on 6th November 2017.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to provide extended lengths
of double yellow line ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in Birdbrook
Road: (1) on the north-west side, between a point 6.7 metres south-
west of the common boundary of Nos. 118 and 120 Birdbrook Road
and a point 44.8 metres south-west of that common boundary; and
(2) on the south-east side, between a point 6.8 metres south-west of
the common boundary of Nos. 73 and 75 Birdbrook Road and a point
45 metres south-west of that common boundary.

The Commissioners assert that the property is liable to forfeiture
under section 170B(2) of the Act.
If you claim that the property, or any part of it, is not liable to forfeiture
you must within one month from the date of this notice of seizure give
notice of your claim in writing in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4
of Schedule 3 of the Act.
If you are outside the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man you must
give the name and address of a solicitor in the United Kingdom who is
authorised to accept service of process and act on your behalf.
If the Commissioners are not given notice of claim in proper form
within one month the goods will be deemed to have been duly
condemned as forfeited.
If the Commissioners are given proper notice of claim, they will take
legal proceedings for the condemnation of the goods.
