NOTICE OF INTENT
THE HEATHROW AIRPORT (TERMINAL 4 CLOSURES AND
SPEED RESTRICTIONS) NO.1 TEMPORARY ORDER 2015
1. Notice is hereby given that Heathrow Airport Limited intends to
make the above Order under Sections 6, 14 and 16 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and all other enabling
powers, to enable new hotel construction works to be carried out at
Heathrow Airport, at Terminal 4.
2. The general effect of the Order will be:
(a) the closure of Shetland Road, for its entire length
(b) 30mph speed limit restriction on the following roads:
(i) Southern Perimeter Road between the end of the eastbound off slip
road leading to T4 Roundabout and 50m east of Sheffield Way; and
(ii) Sheffield Road for its entire length.
3. Vehicles shall follow diversion routes in place at T4 Roundabout.
4. The Order shall have effect from 25th November 2015 and shall last
for a period of maximum 18 month until 25th May 2017, or earlier if
the works finish.
5. Exemptions from the restrictions include:
(a) Anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform;
(b) Any vehicle proceeding in accordance with any restriction or
requirement indicated by traffic signs placed pursuant to section 66 or
section 67 of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984; and
(c) Any persons or vehicles used in connection with the works
providing that such persons have been authorised to enter the road
closure area.
6. A copy of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours
by prior appointment, telephone 023 80628743, at Mott MacDonald,
Stoneham Place, Stoneham Lane, Southampton, Hampshire SO50
9NW.
7. Any person wishing to question the validity of this Order or of any
provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the
powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such
enabling Act or of any regulations made thereunder has not been
complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order
was made, make application to the High Court.

1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make
the above named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to:
a) Introduce a 20 metre Loading only bay outside Nos.1445 to 1449
London Road with the operating times of No Stopping Mon-Sat 7am -
7pm, Except 10am-4pm loading max 20 mins and 20 metres of
double red lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ outside Nos. 1451 to 1455
London Road;
b) Formalise existing double red lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ on
the western side of the service road fronting No.795 London Road.
c) Formalise the existing Parking and Disabled Persons Vehicle bays
outside Nos.886-890 and 882 London Road, with the operational
hours, No Stopping Mon-Sat 7am - 7pm, except Parking 30 mins No
return within 1 hour;
d) Change the operating times of the Parking and Disabled Persons
Vehicle Bay outside Nos.125-127 Waddon Park Avenue from No
Stopping Mon-Sat 7am - 7pm, except Parking 20 mins No return
within 40 mins to No Stopping Mon-Sat 7am - 7pm, except Parking
30 mins No return within 1 hour;
e) Formalise the existing double red lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’
outside Nos. 852-854 London Road;
f) Formalise the existing double red lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’
outside Nos. 75-91 Brighton Road;
g) Formalise the existing double red lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’
outside Nos. 246-248 Wickham Road;
3. The roads which would be affected by the Order are London Road,
Brighton Road, Waddon Park Road and Wickham Road in the London
Borough of Croydon.
4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons
for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the
Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the
Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:

Notice is given that at 10:15 hrs on Friday 13 November 2015 at Ask

Standards Agency, by virtue of powers under regulation 3 of the
