TRAFFIC ORDER 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 29th
March 2021 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and
Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be, in connection with public
realm improvements in Queensway, to:
(a) reverse the existing one-way working in Inverness Place to apply in
an easterly direction; and
(b) prohibit heavy goods vehicles (the maximum gross weight of which
exceeds 7.5 tonnes) proceeding in Queensway from turning right into
Inverness Place.
3. The Order, which will come into force on 1st April 2021, and other
documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available
for inspection until 10th May 2021 at http://
westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices. Please note that
documents will not be available for inspection in person until further
notice.
4. Please note that Orders relating to the previous phases of the
Queensway Public Realm Scheme were made on 30th March, 20th
April and 17th August 2020, and 15th February 2021.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any
provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the
relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of
the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made

Lane. The operational hours of the parking places will be 8am to
6.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and no return to the bays will be
permitted for 2 hours. Vehicles will be permitted to remain in these
parking places beyond the 30-minute free parking period for an

Sundays and no return to the bays will be permitted for 1 hour.
Vehicles will be permitted to remain in these parking places beyond
the 30-minute free parking period for an additional period of up to 2
hours on payment of a parking charge of £1 per hour. The parking

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough
of Greenwich intends to make an Order to facilitate carriageway
works under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The effect of the Order would be to temporarily:
(a) prohibit all vehicles from entering, exiting, proceeding or waiting
(including waiting for the purposes of loading or unloading) in the
northbound carriageway of White Hart Road from its junction with
