If you have received communication from the Trustee regarding the wind up of the Retail Section, then you do not need to take any action. Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustees of the Scheme hereby give notice of their intention to wind up the Scheme and distribute its assets, and require any person having an interest in the Scheme to send particulars of his interest or claim in respect of the Scheme to the Trustees within the next two months. After this time, the Trustees may distribute all or any of the assets of the Scheme, to or among the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the interests or claims, whether formal or not of which the Trustees then have had notice.
