NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 27th January 2025 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Orders will be to: (a) relocate the taxi rank from the centre of the carriageway outside Nos. 306 to 322 Elgin Avenue to the south-east side of the road and shorten it by 3.5 metres; (b) relocate the pay-by-phone parking place on the south-east side of Elgin Avenue, outside Nos. 306 to 322, north-eastward and shorten it by 17 metres (3 bays); (c) introduce 27.5 metres of pay-by-phone parking (5 bays) on the new island site situated in the centre of the carriageway outside Nos. 306 to 322 Elgin Avenue; (d) remove 5.2 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions from the south-east side of Elgin Avenue, at its junction with Maida Vale; and (e) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions around the new island site situated in the centre of the carriageway outside Nos. 306 to 322 Elgin Avenue. Please note that the proposed revisions to parking provisions and waiting and loading restrictions on Elgin Avenue, between its junctions with Delaware Road and Lauderdale Road, as detailed in the Notice of Proposals published on 1st November 2023, have been abandoned. 3.
