1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 27th
January 2025 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49
and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
(a) relocate the taxi rank from the centre of the carriageway outside
Nos. 306 to 322 Elgin Avenue to the south-east side of the road and
shorten it by 3.5 metres;
(b) relocate the pay-by-phone parking place on the south-east side of
Elgin Avenue, outside Nos. 306 to 322, north-eastward and shorten it
by 17 metres (3 bays);
(c) introduce 27.5 metres of pay-by-phone parking (5 bays) on the
new island site situated in the centre of the carriageway outside Nos.
306 to 322 Elgin Avenue;
(d) remove 5.2 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting and
loading restrictions from the south-east side of Elgin Avenue, at its
junction with Maida Vale; and
(e) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading
restrictions around the new island site situated in the centre of the
carriageway outside Nos. 306 to 322 Elgin Avenue.
Please note that the proposed revisions to parking provisions and
waiting and loading restrictions on Elgin Avenue, between its
junctions with Delaware Road and Lauderdale Road, as detailed in the
Notice of Proposals published on 1st November 2023, have been
abandoned.
3. The Orders, which will come into force on 31st January 2025, and
other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are
available for inspection until 10th March 2025 at https://
westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by
appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street,
London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any
provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the
relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of
the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made
thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may,
within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make
application for the purpose to the High Court.

3. Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited (“National
Highways”), a strategic highways company, has made the ‘The
National Highways (A52 Nottingham Junctions, Nottingham Knight
Junction and Wheatcroft Junction Improvement) Compulsory
Purchase Order 2024’, under Section[s] 239, 240, 246, 249 and 250 of
the Highways Act 1980, and under Section 2 of the Acquisition of
Land Act 1981. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of
State for Transport for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will
authorise National Highways to purchase compulsorily the land in the
West Bridgford Urban District, in the Rushcliffe Borough Council Area
of the County of Nottinghamshire which is described in the Schedule
below and delineated and shown coloured pink on the Map to the
Order for the purposes of:-
(a) the construction and improvement of the A52 Trunk Road
Nottingham Knight Junction of the A52 with the A60 Loughborough
Road / A60
(b) the construction and improvement of the A52 Trunk Road
Wheatcroft Junction of the A52 with the A606 and Flawforth Lane
(c) the construction and improvement of highways and the provision
of new means of access to premises in pursuance of The National
Highways (A52 Nottingham Junctions, Nottingham Knight Junction
and Wheatcroft Junction Improvement) (Side Roads) Order 2024;
(d) use by the acquiring authority in connection with the construction
and improvement of highways and the provision of private means of
access to premises as aforesaid; and
(e) mitigating the adverse effect which the existence or use of the
highways proposed to be constructed or improved will have on the
surroundings thereof.

deposited and may be seen at all reasonable hours until 12 February
2025 at the following locations:

5. Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary
of State for Transport, National Transport Casework Team,
Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne
NE4 7AR, or by email to [email protected] before 12
February 2025 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of
objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land. In the
preparation of an objection and the statement of the grounds of
objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of any
objection or representation may be communicated to other people
who may be affected by it.
6. In submitting an objection or representation it should be noted that
your personal data and correspondence will be passed to National
Highways to enable your objection or representation to be
considered. If you do not wish your personal data to be forwarded,
please state your reasons when submitting your objection or
representation and the Secretary of State will copy your
representations, with your name and address removed, to National
Highways; if there is to be a Public Local Inquiry they will be seen in
that form by the public and the Inspector, who may give them less

(a) introduce dockless e-scooter / cycle hire parking places or amend
or remove existing e-scooter / cycle hire parking places at various
locations in the City of Westminster, as detailed in the Schedule to this
Notice. The Schedule also includes details of revisions to current
parking and waiting restrictions to facilitate the installation of and
amendments to the e-scooter / cycle hire parking places; and
(b) formalise the introduction of the dockless e-scooter / cycle hire
parking place on the south-east side of Chilworth Street, adjacent to
No. 40 Eastbourne Terrace.
3. E-scooter / cycle hire parking places can only be used by rental e-
scooters available through the experimental trial being run by
Transport for London, London Councils and participating London
Boroughs (currently provided by Lime and Voi) and by authorised
dockless e-bikes (currently provided by Forest and Lime).
4. The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed
particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until six weeks
have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or
the Council decides not to make the Order at https://
westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/micromobility-4 and, in

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 27th
January 2025 made the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49,
63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended:

Notice of Proposals published on 20th November 2024, has been
abandoned.
3. The Orders, which will come into force on 30th January 2025, and
other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London
Borough of Newham (‘the Council’) proposes to make the above-
mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit motor vehicles from
entering into or proceeding in Disraeli Walk (adjacent to Nos. 212 and
212c Upton Lane). Enforcement will be via CCTV. Exemptions apply
to:
(a) pedal cycles;
(b) for the purpose of gaining access to premises;
(c) vehicles being used for;
(i) ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes;
(ii) in the service of the local authority for the purpose of collecting

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
To Members and others claiming a right to benefits under the Armfield
Limited Pension and Life Assurance Scheme (the Scheme).
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 27 of the Trustee
Act 1925 that the Scheme is shortly to be wound up.
The Trustees of the Scheme believe that they have the names of
everyone with a right to benefits, but the Trustees wish to trace
anyone, including former employees (whether full-time or part-time) of
Armfield Ltd or their spouse or dependant who thinks that they have a
claim against the Scheme or an entitlement or interest in the Scheme
and has not heard from the Trustees recently. If you think that you
have a claim, entitlement or interest in the Scheme please write with
full details of your claim, interest or entitlement including:

the Scheme will not be liable to any person whose claim, entitlement
or interest they have not had notice at or before the time of
distribution.
Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt
of a pension from the Scheme, or who have already received
correspondence relating to the wind-up of the Scheme from the
Trustees.

Notice is hereby given by the Trustee of the Scheme, pursuant to
section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that any person who believes that
he or she has a claim against, or entitlement to a pension or any
benefit from, or interest in the Scheme is hereby required to send
particulars in writing within two months of the date of publication of
this notice of his or her claim or entitlement (together with full name,
present address, date of birth, National Insurance Number and the full
name of the Scheme).
