What it does

The principal activity of the Group continues to be that of property investment. The Board locates properties with good covenants which offer a high yield and the opportunity to add capital value to the initial investment. In addition to properties which have the opportunity of early development, the Group holds a proportion of its portfolio in properties with longer-term tenancies in order to achieve a balanced portfolio and to protect future cash flow. ++ The success of this strategy rests on the executive directors' ability to select suitable properties and manage the project plans for enhancement. The External Manager of the Fund and subsequently the Group, AmCap Management Ltd (hereon the AIFM), is a regulated Alternative Investment Fund Manager and employees a team of specialists with a wide range of experience to judge market trends. The result so far has been that each property added to the portfolio has yielded a good return compared to the market average.
