What it does

Community Suppers Burntisland This initiative brought people together through food and conversation, fostering connection and reducing social isolation. The meals were served during the colder months. from clock change to clock change. providing a warm, welcoming space when it was needed most. Over the course of 21 weeks, volunteers prepared and served more than 400 meals to residents of all ages. As part of this project, we also provided training opportunities for our volunteers, helping them build skills and confidence while contributing to the community. We are especially proud to have young volunteers actively involved, gaining valuable experience and playing a vital role in making the suppers a success. The suppers became a hub not only for nourishment, but also for shared ideas and meaningful community-building.
