What it does

UK CENA, or the United Kingdom Congolese Engineer Network Association, is a group of Congolese engineers from a variety of fields, including electrical engineering, petroleum engi-neering, and mechanical engineering. Our goal is to raise the profile of engineering within the Congolese community in the UK. We also focus on promoting STEM subjects and encourag-ing women to study engineering at higher education. Our Impact UK CENA has benefited the community in a number of ways. We have run workshops and online lessons across the country, including in Birmingham, Coventry, and London. These events have helped to educate young people about engineering and the many opportunities that it offers. We have also worked with schools and colleges to promote STEM subjects and to encourage more girls to study engineering.
