What it does
Creative and Connected Communities CIC was established with the mission to support vulnerable communities, particularly those affected by mental health issues and long-term physical health problems, in achieving their full potential. Initially formed as a community group in April 2019, we officially registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in April 2023. Following extensive consultations with local community members and organizations, we launched the Umeed Wellbeing Hub (Umeed meaning "HOPE") in April 2021. The Hub operates five days a week, providing crucial services to the community. Currently, we run approximately five different services across three London boroughs: Ealing, Hillingdon, and Hounslow. Our offerings include one-to-one advice and support services in these areas. In January 2023, we received funding from Hounslow Council to establish an outreach service operating three days a week, aimed at supporting vulnerable communities in Hounslow until December 2023.
