FREE KICKS operated as an unincorporated community voluntary organisation from April 2018 with the principle aim to deliver affordable or free at point of entry activities to support children and families in Glasgow's East End to overcome barriers to participation in sport and physical activities with a specific focus on football for all.In this financial period Free Kicks CIC have been able to support 17 children & young people into grassroots football clubs by providing support which has relieved families from the challenge of meeting monthly fees of around £26 per month. We have done this by raising funds for league fees, strips and pitch hire in partnership with the local grassroots football clubs and by fundraising activities on-site at our base in Soccer World Glasgow. We were also able to support our local grassroots football teams to raise funds to support children to attend a football experience trip with their peers.
