During the year 2024 -2025, Give A Few Words delivered over 4,500 uplifting, personalised letters (arts and crafts too) for others. These were posted in Gifts of letter packs for over 750 individuals from care homes, charities, voluntary and community organisations. They reached people who may be experiencing loneliness, physical disabilities, mental health issues, veterans, poverty and homelessness, learning disabilities, cancer, domestic violence, dementia and caring responsibilities. The volunteer team (of which over 1,000 volunteers have contributed this year) derive from a wide variety of backgrounds and include individuals, families, charities, schools, and strategic support from volunteer directors.
