The origins of InOurArea CIC lie in the creation of the Emsworth Heritage Trail, which was first established under the auspices of the Emsworth Community Association. Its remit includes: Supporting and maintaining the Heritage Trails as a means of celebrating local history and heritage. Acting as an umbrella for initiatives of wider community value that extend beyond the scope of individual village organisations. Developing projects such as the proposed PG Wodehouse statue in Emsworth, to recognise and celebrate cultural contributions.
