What it does
In this financial year, we continued and largely completed our ACENLPG-funded programme of mentoring and development for people of colour writing children’s and YA literature. Directors’ primary activity was project management, evaluation and other admin related to the programme. We began the programme of activity in October 2023, with a projected completion date of December 2024. We extended the project end date to allow mentees more time to complete their novels. Where ‘3 of a planned 12’ activities are mentioned, the remaining activities will have taken place in the next financial year.
