NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich on 18th June 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into operation on 25th June 2018. 2. The general effect of the Orders will be: (a) in East Greenwich (EG) Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ); (i) to replace the parking places in the roads / lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice with a combination of permit holders parking places and shared-use (permit holders and 2 hours pay & display) parking places that will operate between 9am and 8pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive; (ii) to replace the parking places in the roads / lengths of road specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice with a combination of permit holders parking places and shared-use (permit holders and 2 hours pay & display) parking places that will operate between 9am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive; (iii) to replace the parking places in Woodlands Park Road, between its eastern extremity and Earlswood Street with shared-use (permit holders and pay & display - no maximum stay) parking places that will operate between 9am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive; and (iv) within certain lengths of Vanbrugh Hill, to replace waiting and loading restrictions with shared-use (permit holders and 2 hours pay & display) parking places that will operate between 9am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive; [note: there will be no limited stay free parking provision in any of the parking places specified in sub-paragraphs (a)(i) to (iv) above] (b) to retain double yellow line ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions where they are currently located and provide additional double yellow line ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions: (i) at certain road junctions and other lengths within the EG CPZ, including throughout Rodmere Street; and (ii) in Hoskins Street, east side, for 8 metres south of Old Woolwich Road; and in Trafalgar Road: (1) the north-west side, for 10 metres either side of Lassell Street, King William Lane, Christchurch Way, Whitworth Street and Colomb Street; and (2) the south-east side, for 8 metres either side of Earlswood Street; (c) to provide that: (i) residents of Huntley Mews, No. 112 Trafalgar Road and flats 1 to 9, 224/226 Trafalgar Road will not be eligible to apply for parking permits or vouchers; and (ii) other than as specified in sub-paragraph 2(c)(i) above, the residents and businesses that will be eligible to purchase EG CPZ permits and the cost of those permits will remain unchanged; (d) to provide that the charges for leaving a vehicle: (i) in the shared-use (permit holders and 2 hours pay & display) parking places referred to in sub-paragraph (a)(i) or (ii) above, without displaying a permit will be £1.00 per hour up to a maximum of two hours, with no return for three hours; and (ii) in the shared-use (permit holders and 2 hours pay & display) parking places referred to in sub-paragraph (a)(iii) above, without displaying a permit will be £1.00 per hour or £4.00 to park all day, with no maximum stay; (e) to re-consolidate without change the provisions of the existing East Greenwich CPZ Order, whilst revising the definitions of certain existing parking places to accurately reflect their on-street situations; and (f) to make certain other changes to bring the waiting and loading restriction parent Order in line with the on street layout. 3.
