Solidaritech is a CIC dedicated to helping digitally excluded people, mainly refugees and asylum seekers, get access to technology. Solidaritech work with organisations of all types to donate their old technology, before refurbishing it and donating it out to our clients. We also fix people's devices and provide free SIM cards as part of our partnership with the Good Things Foundation. In the past year we have donated 1,413 devices to digitally excluded asylum seekers and refugees in Yorkshire and Humber. The company has built on the success of previous years, entering into partnership with our local authority, Bradford Metropolitan District Council to be the primary recipient of devices which have limited resale value but can still make a difference to people's lives. We continue to have strong links with Bradfford's migrant support organisations, working closely with BIASAN (Bradford Immigration and Asylum Support and Advice Network), Bradford City of Sanctuary and partners like Beva
