From 19 February 2019, the date of incorporation, to the date of liquidation, 11 February 2021, Mr Richard William Bevins( “Mr Bevins”) failed to ensure that Bevins Professional Outsource Solutions Ltd ( “Bevins”) maintained, preserved or, in the alternative, failed to deliver up to the Liquidator adequate accounting records as a result, it has not been possible to establish; Bevins income and expenditure over its trading period. The nature of Bevins trading activities. An accurate position of Bevins assets and liabilities. The reasons for Bevins insolvency. The true amounts outstanding to HMRC. HMRC raised VAT assessments totalling £1,020,455 for Bevins. Information collated by HMRC shows that between 4 December 2019 to 18 December 2020, Bevins had underdeclared gross sales by £7,751,917. The reason why the underdeclared gross sale funds were deposited into 3rd party bank accounts. That payments from Bevins bank account totalling £4,268,839 during the period 18 May 2019 to 24 March 2020 were genuine business transactions. That receipts into the bank account operated by Bevins totalling £4,268,851 during the period 14 May 2019 to 25 February 2020 were genuine business transactions. The purpose of a payment of £76,395 to Mr Bevins on 24 March 2020 upon closure of Bevins bank account.
