EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2022
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Common Council of the City of
London on 11 January 2022 made the above experimental Orders
under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The effect of the Orders will be in:-
(a) Abchurch Lane to introduce a ‘no motor vehicles’ restriction
operating ‘between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays’ except
for access in the southern section;
(b) Cheapside to introduce a no entry traffic restriction (except buses
and pedal cycles) in a section that lies east of its junction with Bread
Street;
(c) King Street to introduce a one way traffic restriction from south to
north except pedal cycles;
(d) King William Street to:-
(1) introduce a ‘no motor vehicles’ restriction operating ‘between 7
a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays’ except for access and buses
between its junctions Cannon Street and Lombard Street; and
(2) introduce loading bays operating ‘at any time’ and where waiting is
limited to 40 minutes with no return within 1 hour on the north-east
side outside No. 81 and the south-west side outside the development
site at No. 10;
(e) Old Broad Street to:-
(1) introduce a one way traffic restriction from south-west to north-
east except pedal cycles between its junction with Threadneedle
Street and its junction with London Wall; and
(2) introduce a loading bay operating ‘at any time’ and where waiting
is limited to 40 minutes with no return within 1 hour in Old Broad
Street on the north-west side outside No. 111.
(f) Old Jewry to introduce a ‘no motor vehicles’ restriction operating
‘at any time’ at its junction with Cheapside and Poultry and to
suspend the one way traffic restriction;
(g) Threadneedle Street to:-
(1) introduce one way traffic restrictions except for pedal cycles:-
(A) from east to west between its junction with Bartholomew Lane and
its junctions with Cornhill and Princes Street; and
(B) from east to west between its junction with Bishopsgate and its
junction with Old Broad Street;
(2) introduce a loading bay operating ‘at any time’ and where waiting
is limited to 40 minutes with no return within 1 hour on the south side
outside No. 5.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 24 January
2022, of the statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans
showing the affected streets can be inspected during normal office
hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive at the Planning Enquiry Desk,
North Wing, Guildhall, London, EC2V 7HH.
4. Further information may be obtained from City Transportation at the

5. The Orders shall provide that, subject to the provisions of section
10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Deputy Director,
Transportation and Public Realm, or some person authorised in that
behalf by them, if it appears to them or that person essential:
(a) in the interest of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of
traffic;
(b) in the interest of providing suitable and adequate parking facilities
on the highway; or
(c) for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which
any road affected by the Orders runs;
modify or suspend the Orders or the provisions contained therein.
6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any
provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the
powers of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any
relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with
may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made,
make application for the purpose to the High Court.
7. If the provisions of the Orders made under section 9 continue in
operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will
consider in due course whether the provisions of the Orders should
be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of Orders
made under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Persons desiring to object to the making of Orders under section 6 of
the said Act of 1984 for the purpose of such reproduction and
continuation in force may, within six months from the coming into
force of the Order or if the Order is subsequently varied by another
Order or modified, from the coming into force of that variation or
modification (whichever is the latest), send a statement in writing of
their objection and the grounds thereof to the Traffic Orders Officer,
City Transportation, City of London, PO Box 270, Guildhall, London,
EC2P 2EJ quoting the reference TraffOrder/DBE/CT-GL. or by email to
[email protected].

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
THE BELOW NOTICE IS ISSUED FOR AND ON BEHALF OF EARLS
COURT & OLYMPIA GROUP PENSION TRUSTEES LIMITED (THE
"TRUSTEE") IN ITS CAPACITY AS TRUSTEE OF THE EARLS
COURT AND OLYMPIA PENSION SCHEME (THE “SCHEME”)
Notice is hereby given by the Trustee pursuant to Section 27 of the
Trustee Act 1925 (as amended) that the Scheme’s benefits are shortly
to be insured with an insurance company, and that any person
(whether member, creditor or other) having a claim against or an
interest in the assets of the Scheme (a "Claim") (whether as a
member, widow, widower or other dependant of a member or
otherwise) is required to submit details in writing of their Claim within
two months of this notice, being 31 March 2022.
The Trustee is in the process of insuring the Scheme's benefits with
an insurance company and it wishes to ensure that the correct
benefits are insured. If the Trustee does not hear from you, it will
proceed with the insurance of the Scheme benefits, having regard
only to the Claims of which it has received notice.
The current names of companies, which Scheme members may have
been employees of, are as follows: Olympia Group Limited* (CRN:
03764367), Olympia Management Services Limited (CRN: 00238811),
Olympia Limited (CRN: 00661157), Exhibition Venues Limited* (CRN:
00557278), Clarion Events Limited (CRN: 00454826), The Brewery on
Chiswell Street Limited (CRN: 05501977).
If you require more information on the companies, such as their
previous names, please call 0333 11 11 222. (*These two companies
have been dissolved). If you think you have a Claim, but have not
been contacted by the Trustee within the last two years and do not
have a pension already in payment from the Scheme, please contact
us using the address listed below. If you have been contacted by the
Trustee in the last two years, or are currently in receipt of a pension
from the Scheme, there is no need to respond to this notice.
If you are one of the persons noted above, please write to: Pension
Administration, Barnett Waddingham LLP, Decimal Place, Chiltern
Avenue, Amersham, HP6 5FG. You should include details of your full
name, your current address, National Insurance number, a note of any
benefits to which you think you may be entitled, dates of employment
with the relevant employer and copies of any evidence that you can
provide to support your Claim. If you need clarification about the
information required, please call 0333 11 11 222. Beneficiaries should
make claims in writing to the address above by no later than 31 March
2022.

acknowledge that the Trustee (and third parties such as the Trustee's
advisers and administrators) may process the personal data you
provide and any other data they hold in respect of you due to their
legitimate interest in administering the Plan, including assessing the
extent of your entitlement to benefits and ensuring, if applicable, they
are paid correctly. In sending particulars of a Claim, you are
consenting to this processing.
