What it does
Two Ten Therapy aims to improve access to therapeutic support for all, especially those who are hindered by social or economic disadvantage. We seek to reduce isolation due to the stigma and shame associated with mental health and wellbeing challenges, while increasing awareness and understanding of self-care as it relates to mental health and wellbeing. We encourage and promote community collaboration, working closely with community partners such as schools and charities. We offer counselling sessions & therapeutic groups, supervision, and mental-health related courses and training. All core team have counselling qualifications, and we also welcome students who are working towards qualification and doing their placement with us. All counsellors, trained and training, belong to counselling membership bodies such as BACP, ACC, and NCPS and have the relevant insurances and safety checks (including enhanced DBS) to ensure safe and effective work with vulnerable children and adults.
